Crispy Salmon Wraps with Tangy Yogurt Sauce

Crispy Salmon Wraps with Tangy Yogurt Sauce

The quickest-looking reel usually skips the one detail that keeps a wrap from turning soggy: let the salmon cool slightly and add the sauce just before rolling. This version makes four wraps with a short ingredient list and a bright, tangy finish. Allow about 15 minutes to prep and 12 minutes to cook.

Make the sauce and filling

For the sauce, stir together ½ cup plain Greek yogurt, the juice of ½ lemon, 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard, and a pinch of salt and black pepper. You’ll need 1 pound salmon fillet, 1 teaspoon olive oil, ½ teaspoon paprika, four large whole-wheat tortillas, and 2 cups shredded cabbage. A handful of chopped dill or parsley is optional.

Cook salmon until flaky

Pat the salmon dry, check for any pin bones, and cut it into four portions. Rub with olive oil, paprika, salt, and pepper, then cook in a nonstick skillet over medium heat for about 4–5 minutes per side, depending on thickness. The salmon should flake easily and reach a safe internal temperature of 145°F at its thickest point.

Let the salmon rest for a few minutes while you warm the tortillas in a dry skillet. Spread each tortilla with yogurt sauce, add cabbage and a salmon portion, then fold in the sides and roll snugly. For a crisp outside, return each assembled wrap to the skillet seam-side down for a minute.

Keep the wraps fresh

Serve right away with extra lemon, or store the cooked salmon, sauce, and cabbage separately and assemble when you’re ready to eat. Each wrap provides approximately 32 grams of protein, depending on the salmon, tortilla, and yogurt brands. Nutrition values are estimates; keeping the components separate is the practical choice for meal prep.
